South Korea can’t do without Bihar

Patna, February 28: The World Kanan Farmers Movement South Korea President Dr M Ele Kim led delegation on Monday met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and evinced interest in opening agricultural research centres at two places in Bihar.
The CM told reporters after the meeting that the South Korean delegation visited Bihar on the request of President A P J Abdul Kalam, who has great anxiety for development of the state.
He said the foreign dignitaries came to Bihar, after discussing in detail with President Kalam about how they could contribute in the growth of Bihar. The CM told the South Korean delegation that Bihar had abundance of talents and natural resources and the climate is very favourable for agriculture.
He requested them to contribute in agriculture. Kumar invited Dr Kim to Bihar during visit of President Kalam to the state on March 27.
During talks, the South Korean delegation evinced interest in opening agricultural research centres at Jamui and Munger districts, the CM said. The Koreans suggested to the CM for bringing a technological revolution in the state it was necessary to change the mindset of the people.
