Patna, Apr 02: Describing as "valuable and insightful" President APJ Abdul Kalam's 10 missions for transforming Bihar into a developed state by year 2015, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has instructed officials to prepare an action plan based on the President's suggestions. "I have directed departmental heads to go through the suggestions of the President and prepare an action plan to translate them into reality," Kumar told reporters emerging from the JD(U) state council meeting here today. Terming the 10 missions of president Kalam as "valuable and insightful," Nitish said, "the well-thought suggestions of the erudite President will serve as developmental guidelines." Thanking Kalam for paying special attention to a "backward state" like Bihar, Kumar said that his government would leave no stone unturned in realising his dreams. In his March 28 address to a joint session of the Bihar legislature, the first by a President, Kalam had unveiled his 10 missions for economic transformation of Bihar with emphasis on agriculture and allied sectors, social sector, infrastructure and e-governance.
