Shatrughan Sinha hard-sells Bihar in US

Actor and BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha is hard-selling Bihar among non-resident Indians living in the US, making a strong case for investing in the state.
Popularly called 'Bihari Babu', Sinha addressed NRIs at a fund-raising dinner for cancer patients last night along with noted singer Pankaj Udhas and legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar.
He told PTI here over the phone that he saw a "keenness" among people to know more about Bihar.
The BJP Rajya Sabha member told NRIs the state held great promise in agriculture, health and infrastructure.
Sinha claimed that during his interactions with Indians settled in the US, people acknowledged the positive changes in the state with the installation of the NDA Government headed by Nitish Kumar, but were worried about the frequent incidents of kidnapping.
He hoped the diaspora would come up with concrete investment proposals for Bihar. Sinha said he told the NRIs that he himself had sent two investment proposals to the state government for constructing a film city and a five star hotel.
" He is the same so called mass less leader from BIHAR who denied to CAMPAIGN for Sri NITISH KUMAR in last two assembly election and in present days he is same shame less leader who is keeping his eyes on PATNA most costly land to get MAXIMUM benefit from NITISH KUMAR " .
