NTPC, Bihar board plan thermal power project at Nabinagar


MUMBAI: National Thermal Power Corporation has entered into an agreement with the Bihar government and Bihar State Electricity Board for a thermal power project at Nabinagar, Aurangabad. The coal-based project will have a capacity of 3 X 660 MW. NTPC and BSEB will have equal participation in the JV, with 75 per cent power allocation to BSEB. NTPC can supply the balance power to other states. At 1:17 pm, NTPC shares were up 3 per cent at Rs 223.80 on BSE.
