New Delhi: The Centre has approved Rs 1,101.06 lakh for a high level bridge across river Vena in Bihar.
The 12-metre wide bridge will be constructed on the Bhagalpur-Mirzachoui section of National Highway-80, an official release on Tuesday said.
The project has been approved by Union Shipping, Road Trasnport and Highways Minister T.R. Baalu.
The bridge will replace the existing 40-year-old screw-pile bridge as it is not capable to withstand the present day volume of traffic on the National Highway.
