Dr C P Thakur belongs to Dubaha , Muzaffarpur and finished his high School from Pusa High School , Born on 3rd September 1931
 
While Sri N K Singh son of ICS officer Late Shri T P Singh quite famous as Senior because at that time was another T P Singh as ICS officer . Shri T P Singh( Sr)  was Finance Secretary in NEHRU era . Shri Nandu Babu born in 27th January 1941 .
 
Nandu Babu was most powerfull IAS officer in Vajpae era and even today he is more than brand ambassdor of BIHARI INTELLECTUAL SAMAJ . His younger brother Shri UDAY Babu is also JD-U MP from Purnea while sister has also served as Secretary , Agriculture , Govt of INDIA .

            His suggestion have been accepted by WHO and other international organisations and have been incorporated in text books.

            LEISHMANIASIS : He has revolutionized the concept of the treatment of kala-azar and post kala-azar dermal leishmaniasis.

            Research on full moon and poisoning published in B.M.J. has attracted the attention of Scientist all over the world and has been extracted in almost all the national daily newspapers periodicals including science reporters.

            Published more than 100 research papers in national and prestigious International journals (list attached)

            Research paper on the Epidemio Dropsy included in the Text Book of Park's Preventive and Social Medicine and in the "Recent Advances of Medicine" edited by M.S.M. Ahuja, A.I.I.M.S., New Delhi.

            Research work on Heart Diseases reviewed by late Prof.J.C. Banerjee of Calcutta in the chapter on heart disease in India during the last 25 years during Silver Jubilee Session of "Association of Physician of India", the only paper from Bihar Research Work in neurology reviewed in neurology in India during last 25 years, the only paper from Bihar, published in journal of Association of Physicians of India, 1975. Silver Jubilee number P.Olliaro and ADM Bryceson in Parasitology to-day, 1993. Longer courses will clearly be need and physicians should follow Thakur's example of social work with VL in India.
