Thumbs up for Nitin Chandra

Apropos to the comment that i submitted yesterday about Nitin Chandr's act of bringing out a documentary about Bihar,i think i have mistaken in more than one way.The video that was posted by Mr Pandey gave me the initial impression that the whole documentary would be based on Raj Thakreys agitation against north indians and biharis in particular and that is why i requested him that it was not the right way to potray the condition of biharis as underdogs in their own country and we cannot be treated below par in uor own country but to my surprise that is not the complete picture.

"The film deals with Education, Industries, Tourism, Flood and Population problems in Bihar.The Raj thackeray part and all that is only 10-15% of the whole film. This film deals with the real issues in the Bihar currently. I have collected lot of statistics regarding the above mentioned topics. This film is shot in Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Nasik, GUrgaon and Bihar. In Bihar I shot in Champaran, Bettaish, Motihari, Muzaffarpur, Chapra, Siwan, Saran, Madhubani, Sitamarhi, PATNA, Nalanda, Rajgir, Bodhgaya, Maner and Gaya. I met people form RJD to a Rickshaw wala, Met MNS chief in Nasik to INdustrilaists in Patna, President of Bihar Industries Association. Students in Pune, Bangalore, Delhi, Muzaffarpur, Patna. I met Tathagat Avatar Tulsi in bangalore to Mohan Guruswamy, president of Centre for Policy alternatives in Delhi. So, this is awholesome film. It deals with Media Bias against Bihar. Its about awareness."said the confident director who is a media student and has specialised in film making from university of pune,when i contacted him.

He even querried me with the fact that "Why for 60 years we dont have IIT, IIM or good central research Institutes? Why we dont have a single Central UNiversity? Why we dont have a proper Engineering College? Why there are only 2 Bridges on Ganga on 440 kms stretch? While UP has
got 12 and Delhi has got 8 on 80 kms of Jamuna. These are the questions i am arising. Isnt it we need to know? The population of Bihar needs to know? Why for 60 years, for every 5 year plan, Bihar gets less than the average of distribution. Why are we called BIMARU, who gives right to call 30 crores people BIMARUS. Are we really Bimaru?, then who made us BIMARU. There is sense of hatred for Biharis all over India." And i completely agree with his views.

Let me tell you that i am completely moved with his views and his macho man act to the cause of Bihar and i have promised Mr Chandra to help him in whatever way he wants.Through this platform i also urge people from all across the globe to help Nitin Chandra by the smallest way they can so that he can bring the plight of 20 crore biharis through his documentary.{please refer to the video posted by mr pandey to know more}

Warm Regards

Abhishek appreciate your understanding of Nitin is trying to do.Being away in a foreign soil i could not do much to help him in getting this project through.However, I tried to bring it to this platform for a larger audience to know and if possible to do the needful.

hi.
My name is Nitin chandra. As I was talking about BRING BACK BIHAR - MOMENT OF AWAKENING. Editing of the film is going in a full swing. Within 2 weeks film would be ready. I request all Bihri people living in different parts to arrange for screening the film for Bihari communities. A small donation is also expected for Flood Relief and Bihar Development Trust's Microfinance project. I am looking for a ny kind of profit throught this film. Even if 1 person comes back to Bihar to work toward it after seeing my film, I will reach the break - even point.

15th June is the tentative date.

Kind regards,
nitin.
