Admission fair draws crowd

PATNA: The inaugural day of the 5th Admission Fair - 2008 saw about 2,000 students visiting the venue, Hotel Chanakya, to inquire about admission process in various professional and technical institutions across the country.

Students were asked to bring their photographs and xerox copies of results of Class X and XII or graduation so that the participating institutions could provide on-the-spot admission offers.

The event saw launch of the fifth issue of the `Afairs', a branded magazine called 'Career Success', which was distributed free to all the visitors.

The fair provides information about over 100 bachelor and masters degree programmes in varied subjects, said Afairs CEO Sanjeev Bolia.
