Bihar Flood Relief : DRN HCC team reaches Bihar

DRN India Team from HCC Reaches Bihar for Relief Operations
Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Thursday, September 04, 2008 -- (Business Wire India)HCC, one of the founder members of Disaster Response Network (DRN) India has sent a team of engineers for relief and support work in flood affected areas of North Bihar. The team is equipped with advance training by RedR ‘Engineering Response in Disaster’, a professional module in emergency disaster management. The team has collaborated with welfare organizations Bihar Sewa Samiti, Water Aid and Oxfam to support the relief measures. The key operations in this relief work will include setting up of temporary shelters, providing drinking water, sanitation facilities and camp management.
