Book, short films branding Bihar released

Chief minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday released a book, 'Safalta ki Kahaniyan', highlighting the success stories of individuals and groups or institutions. He also released 12 short films depicting silver linings in various aspects of society. "Through this we are branding Bihar and propagating the achievements in different fields. The positive side of the picture should also be highlighted," he said at a function at his office. He said there is no dearth of talents in Bihar and the need is to find them out and give them proper guidance and training. "These stories are of very common people who did something special," he said and hoped the book and films will inspire others. Earlier, information and public relations department's principal secretary Rajesh Bhushan said the 12 short films, each of 15-minute duration, are on subjects of education, health and sanitation and also highlight the culture and heritage of Bihar. A film on girl education was also screened on the occasion.
