No breakthrough in dacoity cases

PATNA: Patna police are yet to make any breakthrough in three incidents of dacoity committed on Tuesday night in Haroon Nagar and Gardanibagh
areas in which valuables worth about Rs 5 lakh were looted by armed dacoits. However, police claimed to have got some vital clues which could lead to arrest of the real culprits and recovery of looted amount as well.

According to a police official, a special police team has been assigned the task to arrest all the criminals involved in these crimes. Raids are being conducted by the team at all possible hideouts of the suspects.

According to sources, the police interrogated several suspects in this connection. On the basis of information given by them, the police are trying to nab the criminals involved in the crimes. Police do not rule out the hands of the local criminals in these dacoities. Since these crimes were committed in a well organised manner, the police are investigating these cases from different angles, sources said.
