Case against Lalu, IRCON officials for mishap

MUZAFFARPUR: A criminal case was filed against rail minister Lalu Prasad and five IRCON officials in a local court on Tuesday in connection with
Monday's girder collapse in which three persons were killed and several injured.

Lawyer Sudheer Kumar Ojha moved the court of the chief judicial magistrate after the Kazi Mohammadpur police, under whose jurisdiction the mishap area falls, refused to lodge an FIR. The court has asked the police station to give reply by March 5.

Incidentally, Ojha had filed a case against Lalu earlier too when the latter's helicopter landed on a national highway several years ago.
