USD 30,000 donated to Unicef Bihar for flood relief

Patna , Feb 17 UNICEF Bihar today received a donation of USD 30,000 to support emergency programmes in the flood affected districts of the state.
RYTHM ( Raise Yourself to Help Mankind) Foundation trustee Bernhard H Mayer met representatives of UNICEF Bihar and presented a cheque of USD 30,000 to them to carry out relief operations in the affected districts.

Stating that both RYTHM and UNICEF shared a concern for children especially in the light of floods in north Bihar, Mayer said that both the organisations shared a common platform to work towards similar relief and rehabilitation programmes in the state.

RYTHM Foundation, a corporate social responsibility arm of Hong Kong-based Q1 group, was established in 2005 with a view to support the corporation&aposs commitment to disaster mitigation, children&aposs care programmes and poverty elimination across the globe.
