Direct flight to Mumbai from April 10

The Times of India Reports

PATNA: The wait of city fliers for a direct flight to Mumbai will be prolonged at least by a fortnight. According to sources in the Kingfisher
airlines, the flight between Patna and Mumbai would commence from April 10 and not from March 25 as was planned earlier. "The changes have been introduced due to operational reasons," said an official of the private airlines. The daily flight will take off from Patna at 2.05 pm and would hop at Ranchi before reaching Mumbai which would be roughly three hours 15-minute journey. The said flight would also provide direct connectivity between Mumbai and Patna and it would leave Mumbai at 11.10 am and reach Patna at 1.35 pm. It will be a direct flight with no hopping in between. The airlines has decided to press in Airbus-320 aircraft for this flight which would offer 114 seats in the economy class and 20 seats in the executive class, said the airlines official.
