Patna, March 18: With her high-profile brother Aniruddh Prasad alias Sadhu Yadav rising in revolt, Bihar Leader of Opposition Rabri Devi on Wednesday described his parting of ways with RJD as 'good riddance' and said suitable action against him will follow.
"It is because of Laluji (her husband Lalu Prasad) and RJD that Sadhu Yadav became a member of the state legislative council and then the Lok Sabha. It is because of Laluji and our party that he has an identity. Now that he has decided to chart a separate course, it is good riddance," a visibly angry Rabri Devi told reporters.
"I have no sympathy left for him (Sadhu). In fact, I had wanted him to be shown the door when he fielded his wife against our official nominee in the last assembly elections," she said of her defiant younger brother accusing him of "betrayal".
Asserting that the party was above any individual, Rabri Devi, the former chief minister, said the West Champaran seat which was being eyed by her brother had gone to Ramvilas Paswan's LJP as part of the seat-sharing agreement. "Once an agreement is sealed, nobody should complain about it. If he does, he is free to go anywhere."
Yadav, who was eyeing the West Champaran seat after his constituency Gopalganj became reserved for scheduled caste due to delimitation, had rebelled yesterday after Paswan secured it for film-maker Prakash Jha.
