He said, keeping the city's potential in mind, the airlines has plans to launch more flights for Patna and two such flights are likely to be launched in August this year. "These would be non-stop flights to Delhi and Mumbai from Patna," Ghosh said.

IndiGo at present offers services for 17 destinations and introduction of new flights on July 4 would add two more -- Patna and Lucknow -- names in the destination list.

Ghosh said that the airlines would add three more Airbus-320 aircrafts by the end of this year taking its fleet strength to 24.

Incidentally, Airbus-320 operated on all the routes has the capacity to carry 180 passengers.
