Film on Bihar's changing face

Patna, April 27. (PTI): The change of regime in Bihar ousting the 15-year-rule of RJD President Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi has inspired a ruling JD (U) legislator to make a film showing what he said improvement in the law and order situation after the new Government came to power in the State.
The film whose proposed title is 'Chacha Bhatija (Naya Bihar)' is the brainchild of JD(U) MLA from Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's home district Nalanda, Sunil Kumar, who had earlier made four movies including a Bengali film starring Mithun Chakravorty.
Actor Vinay Anand, the nephew of filmstar and Congress MP Govinda, actor and director Bali and actresses Gurlin Chopra and Priyanka are the star cast of the movie, the MLA from Biharsharif, Sunil Kumar, told PTI on Wednesday.
Kumar said, "The movie depicts state's transition from 15 years of 'kushasan' (misgovernance) to 'sushasan' (good governance) under the new dispensation led by Nitish Kumar."
He said the dialogues in the film are a mix of Hindi and Bhojpuri and the movie would be shot at locations in Patna and Nalanda. The music would be given by Dhananjay Mishra, while Vinay Bihari is the lyricist, he added.
The film's muhurat shot was taken on Tuesday at famous Mahavir temple in the Capital, Kumar said and expressed confidence it would be completed in two months.
He said Nitish Kumar would be approached for a brief appearance in the movie and if he refused, his look-a-like would do the job.
