Narayan Roy the new Chief Justice of Patna High Court

Justice Narayan Roy has been appointed as the additional Chief Justice of the Patna High Court. Knowingly, with the retirement of Chief Justice J.N.Bhatt his appointments is set to take into immediate effect.

A communique in this regard has been issued by the Law ministry earlier this week.
He started practice as a lawyer in 1976 in the Ranchi bench of Patna High Court. In the year 1986 he has been appointed as the public prosecutor. He got promotions throuougt his career due to his better understanding of law and dedicated services to the Hon'ble courts.

He has been known for his wit and seniority as well.

In the year 1991 he was appointed as the Judge of Patna High Court.
