Dr C P Thakur , all time gold medalist in medicine as well as 1984 onwards member of Lower House and ex-Cabinet minister secured 55 votes in Rajyasabha election . Similarly , Shri Jay Prakash narayan Singh of Deoghar and NDA candidate fron Jharkhand secured higest in his state 35 votes . Another winning candidates are Shri Nand Kishore Singh , Shri Shivanand Tiwari , Shri Prem Gupta & Shri Ali from Bihar while Mukesh Ambani group president Shri Nathwani won from jharkhand . It is also said that Shri Nand Kishore Singh is close friend of Mukesh Ambani . Many other candidates of other states said to be close of Mukesh Ambani won thier election . So , in short - Mukesh ambani sweeps the Rajya Sabha election .
