Bihar creates a room for IT - Four day IT fair to woo major IT players

Information technology is now spreading its wings all over India including the remote state of Bihar.

The Bihar IT Association (BITA) is geared up to stage the first of its kind IT fair at Patna. The fair is going to be held from May 30 to June 2 between 12am to 8pm at across an area of 20,000sq ft at Gandhi Maidan, Patna.

The treasurer of BITA, PK Sinha said the Bihar Government has some ambitious plans to attract IT companies in Bihar by offering them special incentives. His vision is to position Bihar as a preferred IT destination.

Sinha feels the event can create public awareness on government’s IT policies and IT industr.Sinha is quite optimistic as he expects a huge turn-out which will provide a platform to the IT players to demonstrate their products and open up a room for marketing & transaction.

The participating IT companies are Microsoft, Acer, Lenovo, Epson, Venus, Autotrack, BSNL and HP.
