Maoists blows up BSNL tower control room in Bihar

Gaya, Jan 28 (PTI) Proscribed CPI-ML (Maoist) activists blew up the control room of a BSNL tower at Maigra village in Bihar's Gaya district late last night.
Over 200 heavily armed Naxalites stormed the control room and asked the personnel to vacate it before detonating dynamites, police said today.

The ultras have destroyed several towers and control rooms of private operators like Airtel and Reliance besides BSNL at many places in naxal-stronghold areas in Gaya, Rohtas, Kaimur and Jehanabad districts during the past one month.
