Muzaffarpur (Bihar), Feb 06: The Centre was creating obstacles on the growth trajectory of Bihar, which is surging ahead under the NDA regime, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Thursday.
The Centre has become the stumbling block in the state's growth path, Kumar alleged at a public meeting at Khudiram Bose Stadium in Muzaffarpur and said Centre was putting hurdle in the state government's move to revive the closed sugarmills.
Stating he would not backtrack on the issue of development for the state, Kumar inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 474 schemes worth Rs 272 crore for Muzaffarpur district, wrapping up the first phase of the second leg of 'Vikas Yatra' in the district.
Kumar said that list of persons living under BPL would be prepared afresh.
The Chief Minister, who heard the grievances of people at his public meeting at Jarang High School in Gaighat block earlier, was surprised with the huge number of complaint applications at his 'Janata Durbar' in Jarang.
He directed the concerned officials to look into their grievances and dispose of applications as soon as possible.
