Phone numbers of top Bihar officials be published: Nitish

Khagaria (Bihar), Feb 11: The Bihar government would publish the phone numbers of top officials in the newspapers to make them easily accessible to the people.

During his third leg of Vikas Yatra here, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today directed Secretary, Department of Information and Public Relations to publish the phone numbers of all Principal Secretaries in newspapers so that people could contact them in case of irregularities found in the implementation of developmental schemes, a government release said here today.

Kumar, during his Yatra at Gauchhari-Khataha village in the district, also inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of 678 various development schemes worth Rs 166 crore in the district, the release said.

CM also inaugurated a health camp in the village and distributed spectacles to 38 people.

Kumar listened to the people's grievances in Janata Durbar and directed the officials concerned to dispose of their complaints as soon as possible, it said.
