PATNA: The American Center, Kolkata, will organise a film festival on the occasion of World Aids Day on December 1 at its American Corner in Bihar Industries Association premises.
Five award winning films to be screened are ‘A Closer Walk’, ‘Philadelphia’, ‘The Selling of Innocent’, ‘My Brother...Nikhil’ and ‘Phir Milenge’. The films will be screened free of cost, according to sources of American Corner. On Friday, the Center has organised a discussion on “HIV/AIDS and Trafficking” in collaboration with an NGO, Bhoomika Vihar. Other programmes on December 1 includes “HIV/AIDS and Rights of the People Living With HIV/AIDS”, which will be organised by the AIDS Control Society at the same venue.
