Private POLYTECHNICs in BIHAR

Till yesterday , Bihar was having only Government run Polytechnics in various district , Now , on Monday Bihar Sc & Technology ministary has taken decision to have Green Flag for Polytechnics by Private Sector . These polytechnics will have to follow AICTE rules and regulation and once they match standard of AICTE , Govt of BIHAR will recommend these Polytechnics for approval by AICTE , It seems in Polytechnics , State Government No Objection Certicates will be enough for AICTE .

Till this moment Bihar Government has received Three application for Pvt Polytechnics at HAJIPUR , DARBHANGA and one Hotel Management diploma institute at Anishabad , Patna .

In Hajipur Pvt Sector wants to open central Institute of Plastic Engineering and technology .

I remember in 1970s and 1980s a lot of Bihari used to Go UP to get
Graduation in Agriculture Sc and similarly many Maharastra and Karnatka Private Polytechnics and Engineering Degree colleges were filled with ONLY BIHARI students . Now , It seems with Present Government Policies Students can have better education in BIHAR .
